Dr. Prateek Deo is currently working as Consultant Rheumatology and Immunology at Bansal Hospital, Bhopal. He is one of the best and highly qualified Rheumatologist and Immunologist in the city. He is having 7 years of experience in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He did his MBBS degree from Seth GSMC and KEM Hospital, Mumbai (2008-2014).Later, he finished his MD Internal Medicine (2017) with a medal from PGIMER, Chandigarh which is one of the pioneer central health institutes of India. He has further worked as Senior Resident at PGIMER, Chandigarh. Further, he attained his specialty training and DM Clinical Rheumatology and Immunology degree from PGIMER, Chandigarh (2020-2023). He has a wide experience in managing autoimmune disorders like SLE, Scleroderma, Sjogren’s Syndrome, MCTD, inflammatory myositis and Vasculitis. Additionally, he has expertise in managing arthritis like Rheumatoid Arthritis, Spondylarthritis (HLA B27 related arthritis, Ankylosing spondylitis), Psoriatic Arthritis, uric acid related disorders and gout. He is skilled in musculoskeletal interventions like joint injections, biopsies and ultrasound guided therapies (Carpal tunnel syndrome, De-Quervian, frozen shoulder). He can also manage pediatric autoimmune conditions like JIA and juvenile lupus and metabolic bone disorders like osteoporosis.
